Cinnamon is a great thing to add to your smoothies especially if you are using bananas. Bananas have a high sugar content that can send your blood sugar levels through the roof. This will result in you crashing a few hours after you drink your smoothies. Cinnamon helps prevent this from happening while also boosting your metabolism. I add this to virtually all my smoothies!
Green Superfood Powder:
Aside from its amazing chocolate taste, cacao powder is filled with tons of nutrients. It has more calcium than cow’s milk, more antioxidants than blueberries, tons of iron and healthy magnesium. I simply add this because it makes my smoothie taste like a chocolate peanut butter milkshake, but the benefits make a huge difference too!
